Kathmandu: In a recent decision, the government has announced a significant step towards promoting business growth and development. The cabinet meeting, held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, has decided to waive the fees for company registration and capital increment. This move is expected to ease the financial burden on businesses and entrepreneurs and encourage more people to start companies and invest in existing ones.
The decision was communicated to the public by the government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma. This waiver is seen as a positive measure to boost the country's economy and foster an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and innovation.
In addition to this business-friendly decision, the meeting also addressed other important matters. It approved Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda''s participation in the 'United Nations Food System, 2023 Stocktaking Moment,' which is scheduled to be held at the headquarters of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Italy. This participation aims to engage in global discussions and cooperation regarding food systems and agricultural development.
The Nepali delegation to the FAO event will be led by Prime Minister Dahal and include Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Dr Beduram Bhusal, along with other relevant officials. Their participation is expected to contribute to vital discussions and initiatives to address food security challenges in the country.
Furthermore, the government has appointed Dr Rabi Malla as an executive committee member of the Martyr Gangalal National Heart Centre. Dr Malla's appointment recognizes his valuable contributions as a medical professional serving the hospital.
